1. Introduction
Please read these Terms of Use (the "Terms") carefully before using the iOS app "AnimeDeck" (アニメデッキ, the "App") provided by T.K Apps ("we"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
2. Purpose of the App
The App is a personal anime tracker for adding the anime you've watched or want to watch to a shelf, and recording your watch status, episode progress, ratings, reviews, notes, and tags. The App is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
The App does not stream anime or sell video products. Anime information comes from external services, and we do not guarantee its accuracy. The App is not affiliated with the rights holders, studios, or streaming services of any anime, nor with TMDB or Rakuten Group, Inc.
3. Your Responsibility
You use the App at your own risk. You are responsible for entering, managing, and sharing your watch log, notes, photos, tags, and exported data.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Violate laws or public order and morals
- Infringe the rights, privacy, portrait rights, or copyrights of others
- Interfere with the App or the external services it uses (for example, automated mass searches)
- Collect, redistribute, or commercially use anime information or images obtained through the App in violation of the external services' terms
- Analyze, modify, or reverse engineer the App
- Do anything else we consider inappropriate
5. Data and Backups
Your shelf and watch log are stored on your device. Data may be lost due to device failure or loss, deleting the App, or iOS issues.
Please use the backup and CSV export features as needed to keep your own copies of your data.
6. Anime Information and External Services
Anime information and posters come from the TMDB (The Movie Database) API, and Blu-ray/DVD information comes from the Rakuten Books API (Japan region only). Searches or images may become unavailable due to changes, outages, or usage limits of these services.
This application uses TMDB and the TMDB APIs but is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by TMDB. Titles, images, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
If you open links to stores or other websites from the App, any purchases or transactions are between you and those services, under their terms.
7. Photos
You must have the necessary rights or permission for any photos you register as posters. Registering or sharing photos that infringe the rights of others is prohibited. Registered photos are stored only on your device.
8. Changes, Suspension, and Termination
We may change, add, or remove features of the App, or suspend or end it, without prior notice.
9. Disclaimer
Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for data loss, device problems, or any damage to you or third parties arising from use of the App.
We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the anime information shown in the App (including episode counts, air dates, and how seasons are divided) or of the content you record.

11. Changes to These Terms
We may change these Terms as needed. Changes take effect when posted on this page. By continuing to use the App after a change, you agree to the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The courts of Japan have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes relating to these Terms.
